Especially for this being a first wallpaper, I am amazed, most people's first
tries look like they went crazy with trying out a thousand different tools, but
you created a beautifully balanced piece.

I didn't draw the art, it's from the scan of the Bleach Calendar A 2007. Month
of September/October. I did some basic image manipulation to fit Rukia into
Ichigo's arms.
And for your information (even though you might have already known this), Kubo
Tite didn't draw the arts for Calendar A nor B, he only drew the arts for the
Comic Calendar, which comes from the colour spreads of various weekly Bleach
chapters.
